Let Them Go
We all have an “inner Child” and for some of us the child I am talking about is the one that made decisions to protect us from difficult childhoods. Those choices were based on the perspective of fear, not love, and left without new information, those behaviors can create problems in our adult life. Taking the time to connect with that young part of ourselves, blessing and thanking them for their courage and strength is so important. Only you will know when it is time to say goodbye to them, let them go so you, the adult, can run the show.
Today I will reflect on my younger self and decide what part of them still serves me and become willing to let go of what does not.
