When I wrote the quote for today on Oct. 1st, I looked back at a week where there were some interesting personal and professional challenges. I have to say, writing these daily statements has allowed me to stay more connected to my truth, with more love and less frustration, and I am grateful. I realized something else, too. When something went wrong, or someone made a choice that I didn’t agree with, I was able to feel the feelings in the moment and then, (usually after a good sleep) just get over it.
Sometimes I was given the opportunity to speak my truth to the person and we found resolution, and sometimes, I just had to accept that this time, it wasn’t going to go my way. And move on.
The maturity to know when to continue to engage a situation and when to release that person or problem comes from practicing the Love First Principle. To choose the loving thought as soon as possible, for yourself, and others.
“Today, I will evaluate any situation that does not please me and reach for the loving response. And as soon as possible, I will let go and move on. “
