We don’t like that word. Well, maybe when we are the ones saying it! But I have learned that every “No” is getting me closer to my “Yes”. We can’t get EVERYTHING we ask for, because most of the time we are not clear about why we are asking. Sometimes from fear, pain, or loss, we ASK for something and if the answer was always YES, we might find that we were not happy in the end.
When we finally understand that hearing “No” is helping us reach the best “Yes”, then we can come to love the process of achieving our goals, the “RIGHT” yes may take several attempts, but we do not have to be disheartened by hearing “No”.
“Today, if the answer I hear is “No”, I will take a look at why I am asking and bless that “No” as being part of the journey to my best “YES”.”
