Or, as my father would say, “The buck stops here.” Taking responsibility for your life and your decisions is the foundation of self-esteem. When we blame others or the world for our problems we miss a fundamental truth. If we believe that outside forces are always responsible for our situation, and that we are victims, we disavow our true power as co-creators of our experience. We are always part of the equation. It is by changing our beliefs and being more conscious of our thoughts, taking back our power, that we can INTEND a better life experience.
“Today, when something I do not like occurs in my life, I will stop and take a good hard look at myself. I will take responsibility for my part and make the changes inside to create a better outside.”
