My sister and I love puzzles; big, 1000-piece monsters that take weeks to finish. It is so satisfying to have that piece “click” into place, to see the picture revealed. But when you have been working on a puzzle too long, you stop “seeing” how the pieces fit together.
Life is like this, one piece at a time revealing the greater picture of our lives. But sometimes, we need to step away, clear our heads, and then after a break, come back to a situation or person with fresh eyes so we can “see how the pieces fit.”
“Today, if I find that I am frustrated and unable to see clearly some piece of my life, I will step away and clear my mind, knowing that when I return to that piece, I might see better how it all fits.”
