Words
Our words have the power to uplift, inspire, heal, comfort. They also have the power to destroy, frighten, intimidate, harm. Too often our words come rushing forth before we ourselves have thought about the consequences of those words. Our reactions born out of our own frustration, anger, pain, sadness. When we make the commitment to be kind,
to truly live from an awakened consciousness, even if we are still struggling with challenges, we can make this commitment, we give ourselves an opportunity to practice a more loving space for ourselves, first, and can then find a more loving response to those we meet.
“Today I will ask myself to commit to a more conscious life, one day at a time, perhaps one moment at a time I will ask myself, “What is the most loving response to this situation?” and gently I will begin to open my tender heart.”
